A fall in the bathroom can be devastating. There are a lot of hard sharp surfaces in the bathroom and not a lot of room to fall. Make the bathroom a safer place before you have a fall. You can try a raised seat (but it has not rails), or  a bed side commode (which is messy). Or, try a toilet frame. One that folds out of the way is even better.

This toilet seat frame is foldable and easy to remove for busy bathrooms.

It has a footrest for improved stability and ease of use. This footrest can be removed.

The weight capacity is 300#. The grips are solid and durable. We used this for my mother for over a year before she became bedbound after an illness.
